About Us
Warmest welcome friends and community members. I’m thrilled to have opened the doors of Willow Grove here in Sausalito! For many years, I’ve believed a women’s clothing consignment store focusing on the casual California high style would be a valuable addition to Sausalito – as I’ve always loved shopping in resale shops and discovering their many hidden jewels.
I grew up in the suburbs of Boston and moved to Marin in the 80’s. I’ve been a Sausalito resident for 15 years, and I’ve had the pleasure of raising two children here in Marin. Growing up in New England, I learned to always put myself together before leaving the house. It makes me feel good and I enjoy helping other women with their style.
Up until 2020, I worked for companies such as Google, Nest, and Genentech and the changing workplace provided just the encouragement I needed to put my efforts into an entirely new endeavor that brings me joy and provides value to my community.
The women of Marin are strong, smart, spirited and have a unique and individual fashion sense, and I believe the modern woman is one that doesn’t always have to buy new or on-trend, to be stylish. Our community is home to some amazing and accomplished women, and I look forward to meeting all of you in a fresh new place to exchange our beautiful treasures.

A little background about our store name
Willow Grove stems from the origin of the name Sausalito, which comes from the Spanish word sauzalito, meaning “small willow grove.” From sauz “willow” + collective derivative “al” meaning “place of abundance”. So, what a fitting name for a place to celebrate our community abundance.
Fashion ReDeux!

Resale is good for the planet
Willow Grove Consignment is a brick and mortar store model. We believe in seeing and touching the fabric, and trying on clothing to ensure you are buying the best items for you.
We believe in recycling, and giving clothes another life. By shopping resale and consigning, you are recycling in its purest form.
A little retail therapy is good for the soul.

Ethical & sustainable clothing vs fast fashion:
- Ethical clothing lasts for several seasons and years.
- Fast fashion is more likely to end up in landfill after one season.
How does fast fashion affect the environment?
The global fashion industry is generating a lot of greenhouse gases due to the energy used during its production, manufacturing, and transportation of the millions garments purchased each year.
